The task information processing device then detects, from the contact time series data, a task interval in which the task was performed, extracts the contact time series data included in the detected task interval, detects a characteristic quantity of the contact in the task interval on the basis of the extracted contact time series data for the task interval, and infers the type of task on the basis of the detected characteristic quantity of the contact. The task information processing device then generates, for each task, task history information including information that expresses the inferred type of task.
