Fecha de publicación: 15/06/2022 Fuente: European Hub for Essential Oils Lugar: Conference In June 2022 (7/06/2022-10/06/2022), a hybrid event was organized to deepens the achievements of the training course (4.1 Output). The aim of the output was to get together the different experts and students and provide valuable new information about the possible use of the essential oils in the field of biopesticides, plant protection.
The host of the event was the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) in Budapest.
During four days, the students attended to different seminars a workshops related to Essential Oils researches and Essential Oils market.
The EOHUB Partnership provided diploma for 8 students. Besides the diplom, all participants received very interesting and up to date information about the utilization of essential oils as biopesticides. During the field trip a small scale distillation plant was visited where the most important essential oil bearing plants were also introduced. The surveys show that the EOHUB Summer School was an informative and well organized event where most of the participants were absolutely satisfied.
The aim of the Summer school was  to enhance the benefit for the students, who will be involved not just with a part of the consortium, but with all the members in one place, giving them a more enriching experience and a comprehensive package of knowledge, expertise and networking, with some of the most qualified and well-known researchers and professors in Europe working in Essential Oils & Aromatics Plants, and also with students from other European regions during five days.
