European Hub for Essential Oils Lugar:
Conference
On March 17th and 18th, the EOHUB team was finally able to hold the third face-to-face meeting in the UK, hosted by Bucks.
The meeting was held at Great Missenden Abbey, which is part of Buckinghamshire New University, and almost all partners were able to attend, despite the pandemic situation.
The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the next important task of the project: the EOHUB Summer School which will host, during the second week of June, a selection of students from the EOHUB course, as well as other Hungarian students, at the facilities of the MATE University in Budapest.
UPM team presented during the meeting an update on the results of the project and, in addition, Liège and the UPM presented the main results of the first edition of the EOHUB course.
Finally, the meeting ended with a dinner in the library of the Abbey.
On the second day of the meeting, the consortium visited the Kew Gardens facilities, and all partners attended a workshop on the main research activities on essential oils currently taking place in the Kew Gardens laboratories.
As a result, it was a successful two days of work, full of motivation, good decision making and possible ideas for collaboration in the near future, when the EOHUB project ends.
