Some examples include introducing transfer oils and removing extraction solvents to produce essential oil mixtures containing transfer oils and extracted solutes. In some examples, an extraction chamber containing plant biomass and a quantity of extraction solvent is provided. In some examples, the pressure adjustment procedure is repeated a predetermined number of times; in others, the pressure adjustment procedure is repeated for a predetermined duration.
