The extracting system for the lemongrass essential oil comprises a distilling device, a lemongrass crushing machine, a cooling device, a drying device and an oil-water separator; the distilling device comprises a distilling box, a steam generating chamber, a plurality of stirring devices which are mounted in the distillingbox, a second power source and a supporting frame; the lemongrass crushing machine comprises a machine shell, a first feeding hopper, a section cutting device, a first power source and a first discharging hopper; the discharging hopper of the lemongrass crushing machine is connected with a material inlet of the distilling device; a discharging hole of the distilling box is connected with a material inlet of the drying device; an exhaust hole in the distilling box and an exhaust hole in the drying device are connected with an air inlet in the cooling box. According to the extracting system forthe lemongrass essential oil, the lemongrass is cutting into sections first, then the sections are distilled, and then the sections are dried, so that essential oil in the lemongrass can be fully extracted; therefore, the extracting rate of the essential oil is improved. The used equipment is simple in structure, convenient to operate, low in cost and beneficial to popularizing; the overall extracting cost is reduced. Moreover, dried lemongrass residues can be collected in a centralized manner for other use.
