The invention discloses a method for sorting homozygous pink-fruit-color and red-fruit-color tomato inbred lines by late-mature-gene tomato, comprising the following steps of: choosing green mature tomato with pink-fruit-color or red-fruit-color recessive genes as the maternal plant to perform artificial pollination hybridization; reserving selfing fruits of the first ear; after carrying out the artificial emasculation on the second ear and the third ear, pollinating the second ear and the third ear with the pollen of pink-fruit-color tomato and the pollen of red-fruit-color tomato; under the condition that the fruits are mature, respectively harvesting the single-plant seeds of the second ear of pink-fruit-color tomato and the third ear of red-fruit-color tomato; planting the F1-generation seeds of the second ear of pink-fruit tomato and the F1-generation seeds of the third ear of red-fruit tomato; observing the fruit colour and purity by the appearance of the fruits in fields; according to the fruit colour in fields, determining the pink-fruit-color or red-fruit-color gene of the maternal plant and selecting the homozygous pink-fruit-color tomato inbred line and homozygous red-fruit-color tomato inbred line. The method provided by the invention adopts the breeding method of same-plant different-ear pollination of pin-fruit-color tomato and red-fruit-color tomato, simultaneously reserves selfing ears and analyzes the separation condition of F1-generation fruit colour, and quickly, simply and effectively sorts the late-mature-gene tomato inbred line of the homozygous pink-fruit-color gene and the homozygous red-fruit-color gene.
