The invention provides a graft inoculation identification method of tomato yellow leaf curl virus disease, which comprises the following steps: firstly, selecting a tomato suffered from yellow leaf curl virus as a parental stock, raising a seedling to a tomato to be identified, grafting the tomato on the parental stock of the tomato suffered from the virus by adopting an oblique cut grafting method when the tomato has two true leaves, keeping the humidity of 90-95 percent and the temperature of 20-25 DEG C before 3-5 days after the grafting, shielding the light and culturing the seedling, normally culturing the seedling under the conditions that the humidity is 40-70 percent and the temperature is 25-30 DEG C after the grafting is performed for 5 days; secondly, extracting DNA of scion wood within 15-40 days after the grafting, and detecting whether the scion wood contains the tomato yellow leaf curl virus disease or not by using a PCR method. The invention can ensure the accuracy of the grafting identification, is simple without limit of tobacco whiteflies occurring time and location and can be applied to the four seasons or areas without whiteflies.
