PURPOSE: A dehiscent cherry tomato detecting method using a fluoroscopic image is provided to automate a process of selecting dehiscent fruits manually proceed so that manpower and production costs can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: A dehiscent cherry tomato detecting method using a fluoroscopic image is as follows. Images of 550 to 650mm of an isochromatic fluorescence emitted from a tomato in which the ultraviolet ray is irradiated by an EMCCD(Electron Multiplying Charge-coupled Device) camera. The images are analyzed through an image process algorithm. The tomato is cherry tomato. The ultraviolet ray is a UV-V. When black colored portion is found within the images of the tomato after analyzing through the image process algorithm, the tomato is judged as a dehiscent tomato. COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
