The invention discloses a method for screening tobacco brown spot resistant breeding materials through accelerating maturation of leaves at the seedling stage. The method is characterized by comprising four steps of accelerating maturation of the leaves at the seedling stage, performing spraying and inoculating, performing disease induction and performing resistance evaluation. According to the method, maturation of leaves at the seedling stage is accelerated through close planting, fertilizer control and potassium increase, and then disease generating environment is simulated for screening tobacco brown spot resistant varieties on the leaves after maturation acceleration by a disease induction method, so that influence of leaf maturity differences and environment condition changes on theidentification result is avoided, and accuracy and repeatability of tobacco brown spot resistance identification are improved; the method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of being simpleand convenient to operate, high in selection efficiency, accurate in tobacco brown spot resistance phenotype identification and the like, cost, space and labor are saved, and tobacco brown spot resistant breeding materials can be subjected to large-scale identification and screening; and in addition, operations from sowing to identification completion can be finished within three months usually, resistance identification can be performed in a continuous or partial overlapping manner in batches, and timeliness and scale of the tobacco brown spot resistance identification can be increased.
