The invention discloses a method for detecting corrosion defects of a corrugated aluminum sheath of a high-voltage cable, and belongs to the technical field of nondestructive testing of cables. The method comprises the following steps: a calibration stage: acquiring low-frequency eddy current signals of a cable sample under different corrugated aluminum sheath corrosion degrees, and extracting characteristic values of the low-frequency eddy current signals; according to the multiple groups of corrugated aluminum sheath corrosion degrees and the corresponding low-frequency eddy current signal characteristic values, fitting to obtain a change relation between the corrugated aluminum sheath corrosion degrees and the low-frequency eddy current signal characteristic values; and a detection stage: obtaining the characteristic value of the low-frequency eddy current signal of the cable to be detected, and obtaining the corrosion degree of the corrugated aluminum sheath of the cable to be detected according to the characteristic value and the change relation. The technical blank of low-frequency eddy current in the field of corrosion defect detection of the corrugated aluminum sheath of the high-voltage cable is filled, the detection operation is convenient, and the detection result is simple and visual.
