The invention discloses a big-twig cuttage method for olive trees. The big-twig cuttage method comprises the following steps: truncating an olive trunk with a diameter larger than 3cm, and soaking a ground-close end of the trunk into a rooting agent prepared by mixing microorganisms of indolebutyric acid, VA mycorrhiza, saccharomyces cerevisiae and bacillus subtilis; adding an organic fertilizer, lactobacillus plantarum, saccharomyces cerevisiae and bacillus subtilis into soil, uniformly stirring, inserting the ground-close end of the trunk into soil, and packaging the ground-close end by virtue of a plastic bag; burying the bag in which the trunk is inserted into a trench, covering a tree disk with a plastic film, and opening the film after the top end of the trunk begins to sprout; and carrying out transplanting after the sprout grows to a length of 1m. According to the big-twig cuttage method, the fruiting is realized through culturing in a short time, and the production cycle is shortened; by adding the microorganisms of indolebutyric acid, VA mycorrhiza, saccharomyces cerevisiae and bacillus subtilis into the rooting agent, the root is promoted to absorb nutriments from a soil solution; and by adding the microorganisms of lactobacillus plantarum, saccharomyces cerevisiae and bacillus subtilis, the rooting of plants is promoted, and the survival rate is increased.
