The method includes, while causing presentation of a portion of one or more layers of the plurality of layers, in response to an interaction with one of the real-world object or the digital twin, updating the second layer such that the digital twin of the object is modified in response to the interaction, and ceasing to cause presentation of the portion of the real-world scene from within the first layer.
