A drug for treating big and small bee mites is characterized in that the active ingredients of the drug are dissolved in gel, so that the volatilization rate of the active ingredients in the air during use is reduced, and the volatilization time is prolonged, so as to achieve the function of a slow-release drug. The main effective components of the slow-release drug are formic acid, eucalyptus oil, thymol, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose or xanthan gum and water. The addition amount of each component (by weight) is: 3-5 parts of formic acid, 0.5-1.5 parts of eucalyptus oil, 0.1-0.3 parts of thymol, 0.5-1.5 parts of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose or xanthan gum, and 4-6 parts of water.
