The Sarfraz Stingless Bee Hive (SSB Hive) has been designed and developed forkeeping stingless bee, Tetragonula iridipennis Smith. The hive is an efficient device forrearing stingless bees, Tetragonula iridipennis Smith and is able to help inthermoregulation of the colonies for their survival and growth in the geographical regionsexperiencing a temperature range from 3.9° C to 40.7° C. And with this, it would now bepossible to not only raise Tetragonula iridipennis domestically but also to utilize itcommercially for its products and pollination services. Besides, the hive facilitates easyand pure honey harvesting without making any damage to the colony. This cuboidwooden hive comprises of i) a brood chamber, ii) a super/honey chamber, iii) innercovers- two numbers, one for brood chamber, another for super/honey chamber, iv) Topcover- one. The material used for the fabrication of this hive includes, wood (plantspecies- Toona ciliata, common names- Toon or Tun or red cedar, family-Meliaceae),hard PVC plastic tube, a thin sheet of transparent flexible material, typically celluloseacetate, onto which figures can be drawn, galvanized iron sheet (GI sheet, 0.75-0.91 mmthickness/20-22 gauge), Thermocol sheet, adhesive glue and iron nails. The dimensionsof various components of the hive are: Brood chamber- outer length= 275 mm, outerwidth= 235 mm, outer height= 135 mm, inner length= 125 mm, inner width= 85 mm,inner height= 75 mm; Super/honey chamber- outer length= 275 mm, outer width= 235mm, outer height= 70 mm, inner length= 125 mm, inner width= 85 mm, inner height= 50mm; Inner covers- length= 140 mm, width= 100 mm, thickness= 9-10 mm; Top coverlength= 300 mm, width= 260 mm, height= 55 mm.
